Endpoint Standard: Sensor Icon Not Showing Up In System Tray

Issue/Introduction

Sensor UI is not in the system tray despite the console stating the sensor is checking in correctly.

Environment

• Endpoint Standard Sensor: All Supported Versions

Cause

Policy settings need to be configured to enable endpoint Sensor UI.

Resolution

1. Head to Enforce > Policies
2. Select the policy applied to the sensor in question
3. Click on the Sensor settings, next to the Local Scan tab
4. Check to make sure the "Display sensor message in system tray" option is enabled

Additional Information

When disabled, the sensor icon and message do not display in the system tray
