CB Protection: The 32-bit Agent Service Crashes or the Agent is Disconnected With Avecto Defendpoint Installed

Issue/Introduction

• The Protection agent service crashes on Windows 32-bit machines and becomes disconnected after reboot when installed
• This has only been seen on 32-bit Agents but could potentially happen on others

Environment

• CB Protection 8.x and Higher
• Microsoft Windows: 32-bit versions 

Cause

This can happen if the Anti-Virus exclusions aren't made for Avecto Endpoint configuration

Resolution

Make exclusions within Avecto Endpoint per the Anti-Virus Exclusions list here
