Issue/Introduction

Server upgrade fails with the message "Cannot drop the table 'tablename' because it is being used for replication."

Environment

• App Control (formerly CB Protection): All Supported Versions

Cause

The database cannot be in use by another application during upgrade

Resolution

Stop any backups or SQL Server replication before the upgrade
