Issue/Introduction

Installing the App Control Console fails with error "Activation of app Microsoft.Windows.Apprep.ChxApp_cw5n1h2txyewy!App failed with error: This app can't be activated by the Built-in Administrator."

Environment

• App Control Server: All Supported Versions
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Cause

This can happen if smartscreen options are enabled

Resolution

Disable smartscreen options and rerun the install
