EDR: Yara Rules Upload Fails With "syntax error"

Issue/Introduction

When trying to upload Yara Rules it fails with a syntax error

Environment

• EDR (formerly CB Response) Console: 6.x and Higher
• Yara Connector: All Supported Versions

Cause

This happens when the yara validation fails during the upload process

Resolution

Make sure that the yara syntax of the file is correct before uploading to the yara connector
