EDR: Does the Server Use Tomcat?

Issue/Introduction

Is Tomcat in use by EDR or can it be turned off?

Environment

• EDR (Formerly CB Response): 6.2.x and Higher

Resolution

• Tomcat is a legacy service from SOLR 5.x but is no longer in use
• Tomcat can be turned off or removed without issue 

Additional Information

There is a picture in the cluster management guide which shows Tomcat but it is not relevant anymore
