Issue/Introduction

Agent installation fails with error

Error unpacking rpm package                                                                                                                 
error: unpacking of archive failed on file /etc/init.d: cpio: File from package already exists as a directory in system

Environment

• App Control Linux Agent: All versions

Cause

Existing AV installation on the system prevents the installation process from completing normally leading to rollback.

Resolution

Add exclusions or uninstall AV temporarily, install the agent and then re-install the AV
