What file types are accepted for cloud analysis?

Environment

• Endpoint Standard (formerly CB Defense) Console: All Versions
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Resolution

Only Windows files that have the following file extensions can be uploaded for analysis in Endpoint Standard, any other file formats will not be accepted. 

• .exe 
• .dll 
• .sys 
• .ocx 
• .drv 
• .scr 
• .pif 
• .ex_ 
• .msi 

Additional Information

• Additional information can be found in the Endpoint Standard Console under HELP > User Guide.
• Paths added under Policies -> Prevention -> Uploads -> "deny or allow upload paths setting" will be excluded from upload
• The file must be a portable executable to be uploaded (e.g., “.exe”, “.dll”).
