Issue/Introduction

The number of handles assigned to the repmgr.exe PID continue to grow over time and use more resources than it should.

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Sensor: 3.6.0.1719 and Higher
• Windows OS: All Supported Versions

Cause

The ManifestManager part of the sensor causes a handles leak that compounds over time.

Resolution

Upgrade any affected endpoints to the 3.6.0.2076 version of the Carbon Black Cloud Windows Sensor.
