Issue/Introduction

Why are the cmdline values for pathnames being truncated with ~1 values?

Environment

• CB Response Server: All Versions
• CB Response Windows Sensor: All Versions
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Resolution

This is not a CB Response product issue. This is the Microsoft Windows OS using the 8.3 filename value.

Additional Information

• Example: TextFile.Mine.txt becomes TEXTFI~1.TXT
