Issue/Introduction

This article explains how to the change the archive events history.

Environment

• App Control: All Versions

Resolution

1. Open https://<SERVERNAME>/shepherd_config.php
2. Change the value for 'ArchivedEventsFolder' with the new location for your ArchiveLogs folder.

Additional Information

• The App Control service account needs to be able to write and edit to this folder.
• By default, the files older than 52 weeks are automatically deleted.
• The "ArchiveTrimTime" setting defines the amount of time that the archive files are kept.
• By default, the archive is located in the App Control server’s %program files%\Bit9\Parity Server\ArchiveLogs folder
