How long will it take for a sensor to upgrade to a new version of the WebUI?

Environment

• CB Response Server: All Versions
• CB Response Sensor: All Versions
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions
• Mac OSx: All Supported Versions
• RHEL/CentOS Linux: All Supported Versions

Resolution

There is no specific timeout value set for sensor upgrades. When a sensor checks at its regular interval into the CB Response Server and is notified it set for upgrade, it will attempt to pull down the installation package over port TCP/443 and apply it.

Additional Information

Sensor upgrades can be throttled by the CB Response Server to make sure the system is not overwhelmed with requests.
