How to update the Protection server name in Agents version 7.x

Environment

CB Protection Agent: 7.x

Resolution

To change the Protection server name in agents version 7.x repair install is needed:

1. Disable the agent's Tamper Protection: Assets > Computers > select the Computer > on the details page, on right select "Disable Tamper Protection"
2. Download the default agent installer from the server by going to this URL:

   https://CBSERVERNAME/hostpkg/pkg.php?pkg=ParityHostAgent.msi

3. Open command prompt and run:

   msiexec /fvamus "FILEPATH\ParityHostAgent.msi" B9_SERVER_IP="NEWCBSERVER" B9_SERVER_PORT="41002"

Additional Information

This process will not migrate agents from one server console to another, it is only used for updating the server name in the agent configuration
