Issue/Introduction

How to conduct an agent upgrade for specifc agents via the RESTful API interface.

Environment

• App Control Server (API): All Supported Versions

Resolution

An administrator on the App Control server who has the appropriate API permissions:

1. Set the "forceUpdate value to "true" on a "PUT to v1/computer" statement.
2. Create a view in "Reports" > "Events" and select Subtype and "Agent Upgraded". Then sort by "Source" to monitor multiple upgrades.
