Issue/Introduction

If there is a need to create a signed certificate for non-third-party applications so that they can be approved by publishers, what are the supported certificate key algorithms and key lengths by App Control for "Approve by Publisher"

Environment

• App Control Server: All Supported Versions
• App Control Agent: All Supported Versions
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Resolution

App Control supports the below certificate key algorithms:

1. MD2RSA
2. MD5RSA
3. SHA1RSA
4. SHA256RSA

App Control supports the below certificate key lengths:

1. Minimum 512
2. Maximum 4096
