Cb Defense: Alert Notifications are Labeled "PSC Alert" Rather Than "CB Defense Alert"

Issue/Introduction

• Notification emails concerning Alerts are now titled "PSC Alerts" instead of "Cb Defense Alerts"
• Notification email subjects changed from “New incident notification for incident..." to "PSC Alert"

Environment

• Cb Defense PSC Console: 0.42.0 and Higher

Cause

This was a planned update to the product name to reflect that the Predictive Security Cloud (PSC) is the underlying cloud infrastructure of Carbon Black Cloud products

Resolution

No action is required as this is a planned change in product branding

Additional Information

• Cb Defense was the first product built on the platform, so initially the Web Console and communications from the Web Console were all labeled "Cb Defense" 
• Cb Defense will remain on the PSC Platform,  and there will be additional products available on the PSC Platform
• As new products are added to the PSC Platform, branding updates will sometimes occur to accurately represent current features
