CB ThreatHunter: Unexpected Results With Policy Preview Query for Known Malware

Issue/Introduction

• Filtering search results through the Policy Preview query will result in a larger data set
• This only occurs on the first facet search
• Subsequent searches narrow results as expected

Environment

• CB ThreatHunter PSC Console: April '19 release (0.45) and earlier 

Cause

This is a known issue with console versions prior to the May '19 PSC Release (0.46)

Resolution

This issue was resolved with the PSC update which was pushed to all prod environments by May 10, 2019
