When is a Trusted Directory crawled or scanned?

Environment

• App Control (Formerly CB Protection): All Supported Versions

Resolution

• When a Trusted Directory rule is created, the agent will crawl that directory looking for interesting files.
• When new files are added to the directory, those will be scanned.
• When the App Control Server is upgraded, the Trusted Directories will be crawled again using any new parameters to which files are considered interesting included in the upgrade.
