Unable to Install MacOS Agent

Issue/Introduction

• Failure to install Agent on MacOS
• Error received: 

  "BIT9 Platform can't be installed on this disk. The Bit9 Platform cannot be installed on major versions of OS X beyond 10.15.

Environment

• App Control Agent: All Supported Version
• App Control Server: 8.1.4 and higher
• Apple MacOS: All Supported Versions

Cause

The latest version of the Rules Installer version is not installed on the server

Resolution

1. Confirm the MacOS version is supported
2. Confirm the latest Rules Installer is installed
