Issue/Introduction

Repeated ASP.NET event 1325 listed in Windows Event Logs

Error: Event ID: 1325
An unhandled exception occurred and the process was terminated.
Application ID: /LM/W3SVC/45/ROOT/api
Process ID: 4728
Exception: System.NullReferenceException
Message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
StackTrace: at System.Web.Hosting.BackgroundWorkScheduler.<RunWorkItemImpl>d__7.MoveNext()

Environment

• App Control Server: 8.1.0 - 8.10.0
• Microsoft Windows Server: All Supported Versions

Cause

This is caused by a known issue, where an API move error is not completed when the site reloads. 

Resolution

This issue was tracked under EP-8299 and resolved with the release of Server 8.10.2.
