Issue/Introduction

• Opening Office file with Unicode characters used in name causes error message
• Opening Office file with Unicode characters may cause crash for Office application

Environment

• Endpoint Standard Sensor Version 3.6.0.2076
• Microsoft Windows 10
• Microsoft Office 2016 or 365

Cause

A bug found with the 3.6.0.2076 Sensor was found in handling Unicode characters

Resolution

Upgrade to 3.6.0.2121 or 3.7.0.1253 for this fix. It will be integrated in future upgrades as well for 3.6 and 3.7 as they are released.
