EDR: Can Java version be upgraded as per RHSA-2020:2985?

Issue/Introduction

Can Java version be upgraded to  1.8.0.262.b10-0.el6_10 from 1.8.0.252.b09-2.el6_10.x86_64 without negatively impacting the environment?

Environment

• EDR (Formerly CB Response) : 7.0.1
• RHEL: All supported versions 

Resolution

• Carbon Black does not support the Java upgrade as it has not been tested for a long term behavior.
• If customers still want to upgrade java as per the red-hat advisory, issues will not be investigated by Carbon Black
• EDR 7.3 (future release) will have Java 11 which would a better option served to customers.
