Endpoint Standard: Multiple CB Defense Sensor Icons in Local System Tray While Doing RDP to Citrix Servers

Issue/Introduction

Multiple CB sensor icons are seen in the local device system tray in the Citrix Workspace environment while doing an RDP connection.

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Console: All available versions
• Endpoint Standard: All versions
• Citrix 

Cause

The cause of this issue is due to the Sensor UI Display message in the system tray will run in every active user session.

Resolution

The sensor is working as per the design and our recommendation will be to create a separate policy for Citrix and disable the 'Display sensor message in system tray' in that policy which will resolve this issue.
