Workload: Sensor Installation stuck at "In Progress" State and then Fails to Install.

Issue/Introduction

• guestinfo.Cb.InstallStatus in the VM options shows status code 3013
• Under Inventory > VM Workloads > Not enabled > Selecting the machine > Take action > Install sensors shows "In Progress" for a long period of time.
• Install fails on the machine.

• Carbon Black Cloud Console: All Versions
• Carbon Black Sensor Version: All Versions
• Workload

Cause

The cause of this issue is currently investigated in the backend.

Resolution

Please create a Support ticket with Carbon black workload team by submitting the below data for troubleshooting this issue.

• List of affected machine names listed under  Inventory > VM Workloads > Not enabled.
• Login to vSphere web client > select VM > Actions > Edit Settings > VM options > Advanced > Edit Configuration > guestinfo.Cb.InstallStatus and attach the output to the support ticket.​​​​​​​
