Issue/Introduction

Is there an option to crawl the contents of a trusted directory for Linux or MacOS agents as Windows trusted directories do?

Environment

• App Control agent: All versions
• Linux: All supported versions
• MacOS: All supported versions

Resolution

• Linux and MacOS agent trusted directories do not crawl the contents of the trusted directories
• Any archive files added to a configured trusted directory for a MacOS or Linux endpoint would need to be expanded manually to have the contents analysed.
• This is also explained in more detail in the user guide
