Issue/Introduction

Is it supported to configure External Event Forwarder using UI?

Environment

• EDR Server: 7.1.0+
• Event Forwarder: 3.6.2 and Higher

Resolution

It is not supported to use CB EDR Console/UI to configure Event Forwarder running on separate server or minion.

• To use EDR console to configure and control cb-event-forwarder, Event Forwarder must be on the same system on which EDR is installed (in the case of a cluster installer, this means the Primary node).
