Issue/Introduction

Attempting to execute compiled Easytrieve code, this error was generated at program termination:

 +EZAC0000 CA-EASYTRIEVE system error EHMV has been encountered                 

 +EZAC0001 Program execution cancelled

Easytrieve Report Generator, release 11.6

Resolution

You can try increasing Region and EZTVFM allocations and verify APAR LU06812 has been applied:
        Title: EHMV ABEND AT JOB TERMINATION.   

Check for CALL EZTPX01 USING (PARM-REGISTER IN-PARM)

If used, verify parameters are the right lengths, and that they are set prior to calling EZTPX01.

EZTPX01 is documented in the 6.4 Easytrieve Plus Application Guide.

EZTPX01 is a called subprogram used to interrogate a PARM coded on a JCL EXEC statement. It is distributed with CA-Easytrieve Plus and documented in the release 6.4 Application Guide.  

Additional Information

The information from the 6.4 Application Guide was moved to other manuals in 11.x. EZTPX01 is not in the 11.x documentation because   PROGRAM USING   functionality took its place and is recommended for the release 11.x releases.
