Issue/Introduction

Description

I created a ROLESET rule for a CICS transaction and it does not work, why?

Summary

If a logonid is added to a role and logonid is logged on to an online environment such as TSO, CICS or IMS the logonid must be logged off and logged on in order for the roleset rule to work.

Detail

There is a role table for a user that is built when a user logs onto the system that is part of the ACEX(ACEE extension) control block. The table contains a list of all the roles to which the user belongs. In an online environment the only way to rebuild this role table for user in the ACEX control block is to logoff and log back on.
