Testing for Db2 region to not start if ACF2 for Db2 is not installed using DSNX@XAC

Issue/Introduction

I wanted to test that a DB2 region could not start if  CA ACF2 for DB2 was not installed. I linked CADB2XAC as DSNX@XAC into the SDSNEXIT library. I started DB2 and there were no messages received and the region did not abend. What have I missed?

The process of setting up the DSNX@XAC module is all that is required to stop a DB2 region from being used without CA ACF2 for DB2.  

The process of linking CADB2XAC module into SDSNEXIT as DSNX@XAC is all that is required to stop a DB2 region from being used without CA ACF2 for DB2.

The region will startup but no messages will be seen until a DB2 request is sent to DB2 to be processed. During the validation process in DSNX@XAC all the connected DB2 regions will be aborted and message CADB2200 will be issued.
