Issue/Introduction

​​​​​Why does the File Details page show a file as:

• Global State: Approved
• Global State Details: File is unapproved, Publisher is globally approved (Manual), Certificate is approved

Environment

• App Control Server: All Supported Versions
• App Control Agent: All Supported Versions

Resolution

This indicates that the file itself is not globally approved, but the publisher/certificate is. This approval is conditional (the publisher/certificate chain must be validated)
