Issue/Introduction

When deleting a user error "Error deleting user ID <ID> is displayed

Environment

  • App Control Console: All Supported Versions

Cause

DELETE HTTP verb set to false in IIS

Resolution

  1. Open IIS Manager
  2. Check on both Server and Parity Console Web level > Request Filtering > HTTP Verbs tab
  3. Make sure the DELETE verb is allowed.
  4. Go to Application Pools > verify that the DefaultAppPool is using the "Integrated" Pipeline mode.
