Moving Agents From One Console to Another

Issue/Introduction

Is it possible to move Agents from one Console (backend database) to a new one?

Environment

• App Control Agent: All Supported Versions
• App Control Console: All Supported Versions

Resolution

Currently the only way to do this is by uninstalling the existing Agent, and installing using the other Console's Policy Installer.

Additional Information

If the backend database (das) was migrated, or if the Console's Server Address has changed, the Agent's setserver command will allow you to update it.
