To collect logs for troubleshooting failed App Control Server upgrades.

Environment

  • App Control Server: All Supported Versions

Resolution

  1. Collect a screenshot of any error (if present).
  2. In Windows Explorer, navigate to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Bit9\Parity Server\Support\
  3. Grab a copy of:
    • ServerPatch-date.log (if¬†Patch Upgrade)
    • ServerInstall-date.log (if Major Upgrade)
  4. Attach the collected information to the support case for review:
