Issue/Introduction

Agent logs fail to upload to the CB Protection console under https://<ServerName>/support.php > Available log files

Environment

  • CB Protection Console: All Supported Versions

Cause

  • Network Connectivity
  • SSL Trust

Resolution

  1. Turn on high debugging:
    • https://community.carbonblack.com/t5/Knowledge-Base/Cb-Protection-How-to-Collect-Agent-Logs-Locally-Windows/ta-p/62597
  2. Open "Trace.BT9" file (ProgramData\Bit9\Parity Agent\Logs)
  3. Search for "DiagnosticUploadRequest::Upload:" and determine what error code is present
