EDR: Cbdaemon Does Not Start After Upgrade of Linux Sensor

Issue/Introduction

Linux sensor process, cbdaemon, does not start after upgrading from 6.3.x to 7.0.3

Environment

• EDR Linux Sensor: 6.3.X - 7.0.3

Cause

A permission change on /etc/systemd/system/cbdaemon.service is causing the issue

Resolution

• The daemon can be started by executing systemctl cbdaemon start
• The issue is resolved with EDR Linux Sensor 7.1.X
