Issue/Introduction

Installation dialog fails with error:

Unsupported kernel base 4.18.0, searching for additional kernels.
No supported kernels found. Unrecoverable error.

 

Environment

• CB Response Sensor: 6.2.1 and earlier
• CB Response Server: All versions
• RHEL: 8.x
• CentOS: 8.x

Cause

This is CB-28840.

Resolution

CB-28840 is fixed with the Linux 6.2.2 sensor.
