Carbon Black Cloud: "Unquarantine asset failed" when trying to select "Unquarantine assets" in the Inventory > Endpoints page of the Console

Issue/Introduction

Error can occur when selecting either one or many sensors via check boxes.

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Console: All versions
• Carbon Black Cloud Sensors: All versions
• Sensor Operating Systems: All versions

Cause

One of the selected sensors is in a "deregistered" state.

Resolution

The Console will not allow the user to unquarantine a sensor. This root cause may not be apparent when many sensors are selected in the attempt.
 

Additional Information

Feature Request FR-003531 has been created to improve the error message to indicate a sensor is in a deregistered state and is therefore the cause of the failure.
