Issue/Introduction

Deleting multipe models in the CA Spectrum OneClick List tab takes a long time. If there are a significant number of models deleted at the same time, it could cause the SpectroSERVER process to take up to 100% CPU until the model deletions are complete.

Cause

The deletion of models from the OneClick List tab happens in synch with the Spectrum database, where it validates every model when it is deleted from the database before removing the entry from the List tab.

Resolution

Limit the number of models deleted from the List tab at the same time. Delete multiple models at the same time from the Topology View. Topology deletion is faster because it deletes the entries first from topology and then synch/validates the deletion with database.
