Issue/Introduction

How to identify what TCP/IP ports are being used by IDMS as a generic server.

Resolution

Use command DCMT D LINE TCPIP where TCPIP is the TCPIP line 

The ports are defined on the PTERM statements. If the server is not generic the server application will explicitly bind to a chosen transport provider ( TCP/IP ).
