PSC: Linux Sensor Not Communicating Through Authenticated Proxy

Issue/Introduction

• Sensor installation fails
• Sensor installs, but doesn't check in or report any events

Environment

• PSC Linux Sensor: 2.4.0.3
  • CB Defense
  • CB LiveOps
• Linux: All Supported Version
• Proxy requires authentication

Cause

Proxy authentication is not supported

Resolution

• Disable authentication as a workaround
• Support for Proxy authentication is coming in future sensor version (CB-22784)
