Carbon Black Cloud Sensor UI: Large amount of characters in the Sensor UI Details causes the local console to be unusable

Issue/Introduction

• Adding text of more than one thousand (1k) chacaters in Sensor UI: Detail message field
• System performance impacted for sensors within policy
• RepUx.exe at 50% or more CPU usage

• Carbon Black Cloud Sensor: All Supported Versions

Cause

VMware Carbon Black has identified an issue when there are more than one thousand (1k) characters in the Sensor UI: Detail message field.

Resolution

The fix will be implemented in the upcoming 3.7 sensor release.

Additional Information

If expericining these issues, the current workaround is to limit the message to less than one thousand (1k) characters.
