CA SPECTRUM: Launching the Console in Context of a Global Collection

Issue/Introduction

When launching a OneClick Console in the context of a Global Collection, the Global Collection's UniqueKey attribute id 0x12e56 value must be specified instead of the Global Collection's Name

Resolution

On the 'Attributes' tab of the Global Collection model find the value for the UniqueKey attribute id 0x12e56

Use this value to launch the OneClick Console in the context of that Global Collection

http://<OneClickServer>:8080/spectrum/oneclick.jnlp?topology=545b8687-01d6-1000-1fcd-8dca3c640000

 

The Console should launch with the topology view of the Global Collection selected

The UniqueKey is also needed if using the 'explorer' parameter in place of 'topology'

example:

http://<OneClickServer>:8080/spectrum/oneclick.jnlp?explorer=<UniqueKey_Value>
