Carbon Black Cloud: AD Criteria Incorrect In Console For Sensors

Issue/Introduction

• Using AD info for group management
• Machines are not moving to the correct group
• AD info is not being updated correctly in the Web Console

Environment

• Carbon Black Cloud Web Console: All Versions
• Carbon Black Cloud Windows Sensor: All supported versions up to 3.6.0.1979
• Microsoft Windows: All Supported Versions

Cause

There has been a sensor side issue identified where the sensor is unable to properly send metadata correctly to reflect in the console resulting with sensors not moving to the correct group because metadata changes were not reported.

Resolution

The issue has been resolved in 3.6.0.1979 sensor version.
