• Response Sensor fails to start automatically on system startup
• No errors found in the Windows event logs or sensor logs

Environment

• CB Response Windows Sensor: 6.1.X to 6.2.1
• Microsoft Windows 7
• Microsoft Windows 10
• Microsoft Windows Server 2012

Cause

The cause of the issue is unknown at this time.

Resolution

Upgrade to 6.2.2 and higher

Services can be started manually on the Windows host from an elevated command line:

sc start carbonblack
sc start carbonblackk
sc start cbstream
