How does the cb.conf file get updated during the EDR Server software upgrade?

Environment

• EDR(Formerly Carbon Black Response) Server: 6.x and higher

Resolution

• A new file is created during the upgrade for cb.conf named cb.conf.upgrade.
• The differences between the original cb.conf and the cb.conf.upgrade file need to be manually reconciled to utilize the updated settings in the new cb.conf.

Additional Information

The cb.conf file is not updated with a .rpmnew, but instead receives a new cb.conf.upgrade file.
