Description

I setup my system to run DB2 regions with ACF2 option for DB2 active. I copied DB10DCM1 and CADB2INT into the ENF load library but I did not see any messages that ACF2 for DB2 was active. What have I missed?

Summary

As well as copying the modules to ENF load library, you need to inform ENF/DB2 that these regions are  to be protected by ACF2 for DB2.

Detail

To install ACF2 for DB2  into the DB2 regions you must

1) copy the modules DB10DCM1 and CADB2INT into the ENF DB2 load library,

2) ensure that the cai.CACPLINK  library is available to the db2 regions by being in the system linklist

3) ensure that the cai.CACPLPA library is in the system LPALIST.

4) update the ENFPARMS with the DB2REL parameter.
