EDR: Event Forwarder 3.7.3 will not start on standalone CentOS 7

Issue/Introduction

Service fails to start on CentOS/RHEL 7.X standalone server (without EDR installed)

Environment

• EDR:  All Supported Versions
• Event Forwarder 3.7.3
• CentOS/RHEL 7.X

Cause

Defect:  CB-33574

Resolution

Upgrade to 3.7.4 or later where this issue is addressed.
