Issue/Introduction

To ensure that the file system being used for task output does not use excessive DASD space, you can schedule CA CSM to mass offload (move, copy, or delete) user task output within CA CSM by using the policy wizard.

For example:

The Policy types Copy and Move can send the existing task output to JES or a sequential dataset. You can execute a policy immediately after it is created or you can store policies for future usage and can trigger them manually or automatically with a scheduler. You can execute any policy manually, regardless if you have enabled scheduling.

To execute an existing Policy:

 -          Click the Tasks tab and then click the Manage History subtab.

 -          Find the policy that you want to execute, click the Actions drop-down list to the right of the policy, and select Run.
