EDR: Error: "Invalid Credentials" When Using Firefox

• "Invalid Credentials" seen in console
• 403 Forbidden error in DevTools

Environment

• EDR Server: 7.4.x and Higher

Cause

Incompatible browser being used

Resolution

Do not use an incompatible browser.  Use Google Chrome to access the EDR Console.

Additional Information

• This specific incompatibility is seen in 7.4.x and higher.
• Only Google Chrome is compatible with EDR and Hosted EDR.
• Even though Firefox works to access the EDR console sometimes it is not considered compatible, and many times can cause problems.
