Issue/Introduction

Can sensors be assigned to sensor groups via API?

Environment

• CB Defense Web Console: All Versions

Resolution

At this time CB Defense does not support this functionality from API.  Instead, an admin with the appropriate RBAC settings can assign a sensor to a policy using API.

Additional Information

• Manually assigning a sensor to a policy via API bypasses the use of a sensor group.
• Once a sensor is assigned to a policy without the use of sensor groups it will no longer automatically be moved into a sensor group from within the CB Defense Web Console.
